Sourdough

Sourdough at Nada is born of flour, water, time, and patience. Naturally leavened, each loaf carries the quiet rhythm of slow fermentation—golden crust, airy crumb, and a depth of flavor that lingers. Bread as nourishment, ritual, and craft.

    • Yes. All our porcelain is food-safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.

    • We work with limited materials — including small-batch glazes and stains — and design each piece with intention. Once a series is complete, we move forward, making space for new interpretations in form and colour.

    • Maybe, however our collections evolve with the studio — shifting with available materials and ideas. Think of every piece as a chapter in a broader story of ongoing craft.

    • Our porcelain is strong but benefits from care. Avoid sudden changes in temperature, don’t use abrasive pads, and store or stack with felt between pieces to prevent scratching.

    • Porcelain is finer, stronger, and fired at higher temperatures than other ceramics. This gives it its signature translucency, smooth texture, and resilience in daily use.

    • We use a combination of slip casting, wheel throwing, and hand-building. The process is slow and iterative — guided by both material and maker.

    • At this time, we focus on small-batch collections using materials we’ve curated intentionally. Each piece already carries the signature of the hands that made it.

    •  Yes. Our collections are designed to be modular and timeless. Mixing pieces across collections — or even across glazes — is a part of the experience.

    • Each piece is made at our porcelain studio in Goa, in small batches, by hand. Our studio is a space for quiet making, experimentation, and continual evolution.
